Health for Life Program

Adolescents who are overweight can enroll in Health for Life, a program providing evaluation and counseling by a team that includes a physician, social worker, and nutritionist. During frequent visits over the course of a year, an individualized program of nutrition and exercise will be developed. Visits include both individual and group time with the team. The goal is to encourage changes in lifestyle that will include healthier eating, increased physical activity, and weight reduction and management.
