The Early Intervention Program at NewYork-Presbyterian Phyllis and David Komansky Center for Children's Health provides evaluations, treatment, and referrals for the full range of developmental difficulties, including:
We also collaborate with pediatric sub-specialists at the Komansky Center, including:
The program also provides multi-disciplinary evaluations through the New York State Early Intervention Program. What happens during the early years of your child's life is very important to his or her later health and well-being. It is best to identify problems in babies and children at the earliest possible age, so that they can get the best care. Because of the importance of this early care, the State of New York passed a law stating that infants and toddlers with developmental disabilities are entitled to Early Intervention Services. We are an approved evaluation center for the New York State Early Intervention Program.
