This half-day CME course is designed to educate pediatric endocrinologists, pediatricians, residents, fellows and other allied health professionals on recent developments in pediatric endocrinology. This year course focuses on four topics: 1) molecular mechanisms that regulate growth; 2) obesity and metabolic syndrome and the role of bariatric surgery; 3) bone disease in children with disorders of phosphate metabolism; and 4) diabetic management using insulin pump/close loop system. Disease outcomes and current controversies on management will be discussed. The course will include index case presentations and a panel discussion.
