Dentoalveolar Surgery
Dentoalevolar surgery encompasses all procedures relating to diseases of the teeth and the supporting soft tissue and bony structures in the mouth. The most common dentoalveolar procedure is the extraction of teeth - badly decayed and not salvageable, impacted, extra, etc. Other dentoalveolar procedures include adding, removing or reshaping the soft and hard tissue supporting the teeth, biopsy and removal of simple cysts and other lesions of the mouth, and management of oral infections.
