Inpatient & Outpatient Epilepsy Care at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital's Comprehensive Epilepsy Centers offer state-of-the-art outpatient and inpatient care for patients with epileptic seizure disorders.

We offer a full spectrum of diagnostic procedures and treatments for epileptic seizures, and our treatment teams are skilled in the long-term management of the medical and social aspects of epilepsy.

Our neurology and neurosurgery departments consistently rank among the top five in the nation according to US News and World Report, as well as number one in New York City.

Patients treated at our two Comprehensive Epilepsy Centers – NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center – are under the care of compassionate, multidisciplinary teams of epilepsy specialists.

Team members include epileptologists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, clinical nurse specialists, neuropsychologists and psychiatrists.

Care and Outreach for People with Epilepsy (COPE)

The Weill Cornell Epilepsy Center hosts a monthly Patient and Family Education Series. These seminars are for patients, family members and care partners. These seminars will offer the latest information in the field of epilepsy, and will address the special concerns of those living with epilepsy. In addition to a brief talk by a guest speaker, the seminars will offer an opportunity to participate in a group discussion.
